I worked as a Coral Technician in the Baum lab, supporting research on post–El Niño coral recovery across varying levels of human impact on Kiritimati (Christmas Island), Kiribati. For this role, I prepared both laboratory and field equipment for the upcoming expedition, analysed coral imagery data, and applied molecular techniques to deepen our understanding of how coral holobionts respond to heat stress.
